Edited in high speed, aerial images of the American countryside and its rectangular road network taken from Google Earth unfold hidden patterns in slow motion.

Many roads and field borders in the United States follow the rectangular Thomas Jefferson Grid. But because a flat grid does not adjust itself to the globe, dog-legging is regularly required. Edited in high speed, aerial images picked from Google Earth constitute the raw material for this semi-abstract animation, in which a hidden pattern is unfolding in slow motion.
