Greencard Warriors

The army of the United States recruits youngsters among prospectless illegal immigrants. In practise, the carrot of a legal existence held out to the young conscripts and their families often turns out to be false promise. This feature film shows the consequences this has for a poor Latino family, in a district where crime is the only other option to survive. The story is told from different perspectives, including that of young Angel, who sees his dreams and love evaporate.
