Mazin is a twelve-year-old, deaf boy preparing for the most exciting moment in his life. After undergoing surgery, he will be able to hear for the first time. Mazin is very curious about all the sounds and is really looking forward to being able to talk with his family. But he is also a bit scared. What if something goes wrong during the operation, as it did with his school friend? But perhaps Mazin finds it even scarier if the operation will succeed. What will the world sound like?
