Film poem about the mythical dimension to Oudegracht in Utrecht.
With his co-author, who has now died, filmmaker Sherman de Jesus went in search of the mythical dimension to Oudegracht in Utrecht. In this film poem with lyrical and dreamlike images of the wharfs and the subterranean vaults, the child prodigy Mozart appears and, with his sister, roams the city as day dawns. In another scene, caryatids free themselves from the Winkel van Sinkel for a night out in town. A naked woman cycles imperturbably along the canals.
