Musical documentary about the renowned American composer John Cage. From Zero comprises five separate parts. Part 1, entitled Nineteen Questions, comprises an interview led by chance with the composer. In Part 2, the Ives Ensemble plays the composition Fourteen. The third part entitled Paying Attention renders in an experimental way an interview from 1982 with John Cage. In Part 4, Overpopulation and Art, Cage recites one of his last poems accompanied by his composition Ryoanji. In David Tudor, the fifth and last part, the composer David Tudor discusses the work of his friend and colleague John Cage.
