The theme of the class of 2015 commercial programme of the Netherlands Film Academy - Freedom of Expression Is a Human Right - inadvertently presented itself during a brainstorm session about those commercials, on 7 January 2015. This was the day when in Paris twelve people were shot in cold blood because they made satire with the figure of Muhammad. Amnesty International Netherlands was involved in the concept development and in the 45-second pitches of the commercials.
