For his fiftieth birthday, Wulffers placed a camera on the edge of a swimming pool. One by one, smiling young women pull themselves up on the side. Voor mijn 50ste verjaardag (For My Fiftieth Birthday) refers to La Piscine, with Romy Schneider. It is a short for the Rotterdam Nooitgedacht Foundation that organises film events for films that, thanks to their recalcitrant form or nature, don't fit in the regular distribution circuit.
