For 21 years, Dette Glashouwer was a member of pantomime theatre group Suver Nuver. When their subsidy is discontinued, she seeks the confrontation with herself, without guarantees, but also without obligations or conditions, in the promised land. During her demanding tour of America, director Pieter Verhoeff has some candid conversations with Glashouwer. Both a roadmovie and an exciting mental journey by a theatre-maker, who wonders at a crucial stage in her life: 'How am I going to continue, alone’?
