TV-film in the series Enneagram. Walter is an alcoholic. He has lost everything: wife, children, house, job and driving license. He lives with his dominant mother again. But, the inserted title reads, `10 days to go without alcohol and everything will be fine with Walter'. Because then he can see his kids again, and things might even work out between him and his wife. But when he coincidentally gets involved in the problems of a woman with two children who is trying to escape from her abusive husband, things get accelerated in Walter's life. The temptation grows, both of the woman and the bottle. The inserted titles, counting the days, are increasingly ironical, and people at Alcoholics Anonymous grow suspicious. Meanwhile, shy Walter tries to run with the hare and hunt with the hounds, plus stay off the booze - despite recurring, enticing visions of himself as a drunk rocker.
