Every step that filmmaker Natascha van Weezel takes in Amsterdam, she can’t help but think of World War II. Every day, the war is still part of her life and that of her parents, both children of Jewish Holocaust survivors. She searches for other children of the so-called ‘third generation’. In the process, she discovers to what extent the war still defines their lives, too. Many people think World War II will definitely be over as soon as the last survivors are gone, but will it?
