Comic drama in which two totally different dreamers with high expectations of life find each other in a rural village where mediocrity runs rampant.

Sjaak (28) decides to quit his flunked career as a guitarist in Amsterdam and temporarily moves in with his parents in the country. In the local snackbar, he gets acquainted with Fransje (18). She wants to become an author, competes in writing contests and pens poems for the people around her. But nobody really listens. Despite the differences in character, ideas and life stages, the two dreamers Sjaak and Fransje find each other in this comic drama, in a place where they had not expected to find such an inspiring alliance.
