Following the Occupy protests in the US, activists occupy the Amsterdam Beursplein on 15 September 2011. In the subsequent three months, the spontaneous protest expands into an urban camping with concerts, discussions and chaos involving homeless people and provoking students. The filmmakers are in the midst of things. They follow four idealists during the Occupy experiment, and afterwards. What drives them? Why do they want to improve the world, when that world does not ask for improvement?
