The film shows two juxtaposed series of images whose content, colour, form, rhythm and photography differ. In one frame, we see people working on a house. In colour, and shot with a classical wind-up camera. Adjacent to this, black-and-white images show anonymous urban scenes of subway stations and office buildings. Both without any dialogue, without any explanation. Thus, viewers are forced to make up the story themselves: Do It Yourself.
