When this family woth three children still lived in Syria, they liked to go to the seaside. Now, the family seeks comfort on the Dutch coast; the sea reminds them of home. The family fled the war and have been in the Netherlands for four months now, waiting for their asylum procedure to start. Short documentary from a series of film portraits showing the diversity of refugees in the Netherlands. The family stays anonymous in the film, for fear of the consequences for next of kin who stayed behind. Introduced by TV presenter Dieuwertje Blok.
