Feature about life in an anonumous Kurdish mountain village, where the endless struggle goes on between the government army and the advocates of a free Kurdistan. The film tells the story of a Kurdish shepherd and his two children. After a confrontation between soldiers and freedom fighters, the shepherd decides to buy a pistol to defend himself. Tensions rise in the village when the shepherd's nephew returns to the village as a policeman. The young man soon realises that several villagers, among them his uncle, are hiding weapons. His feelings for his uncle's daughter however make it difficult to carry out the instructions of his superiors. Then the freedom fighters decide to attack the police station.
