Television film uses the form and style of the medium televison, through which the fictional drama gets very close to TV reality.
In his first film made specially for television, Danniel Danniel uses the form and style of the medium. The militant organisation The Green Guard has kidnapped two industrialists. The outcome of this kidnapping is told with images from the same kind of programmes that usually report on such events in TV: the news, current-affairs programmes and talkshows. Thanks to the cooperation of real TV personalities including newsreader Philip Freriks and talkshow host Sonja Barend, the fictional drama gets very close to TV reality and this helps it give a kaleidoscopic view of what is generally regarded as 'news'.
