Feature about a young man who leaves his girlfriend when he hears he is suffering from the debilitating disease of multiple sclerosis. In the years that ensue, the man slowly loses more and more control of his muscles and has plenty of time to wallow in self-pity. When years later his ex-girlfriend looks him up with the news that he is the father of her ten-year-old son, it looks as if he may have a new life. The man very gradually starts to understand the wisdom of an old Sherpa saying he once heard in the Himalayas. `The mountain is heavy, but the butterfly lifts the cat.' In other words, something that looks difficult doesn't necessarily have to be difficult.
