In the Bolivian highlands, thirteen thousand feet above sea level, Fernando (13) herds his father's lamas. Always looking for hidden treasures from the distant past, one day he finds a very well-preserved jar. He sells it to a dubious trader in town. As the find coincides with a dangerous drought, it slowly registers with the boy that he may be responsible.
