Documentary looking at several former and present inhabitants of the working-class C District of Utrecht as they perform the play De tijden worden goed. The C District has changed a lot since the play was first performed there after the war in 1945. The demolition of many houses has made that many people have moved away. The rehearsals for the play provide a welcome opportunity to meet up again.
