Kloosterburen: On the Brink Of Two Centuries is a six-part series of documentaries about the village of Kloosterburen in the north-west part of the province of Groningen. From November 1998 to the end of 1999, Hilhorst and Luijten rented a cottage in the village. They made a portrait of the hamlet. During the Netherlands Film Festival 2004 episode 5 was screened. It is the surprising story of a Vietnamese bride and a drum majorette.
