Graduation film is a short poetic animated film without dialogue. In a nocturnal setting, a woman by a pier tries to catch the waxing moon in the water. But every time she touches the water, a small fish swallows the moon. The works by the Belgian painter Leon Spilliaert were an important source of inspiration for the graphics and atmosphere of the film.
