Candle-maker Ruud Snel has spent his whole life in a wheelchair. He is dependent on others for many things in life. But he has discovered there are also nice things to do in a wheelchair.
Accompanied by his dog Boebie, he tries to climb the Dom Tower in Utrecht under his own steam. It is a chastening experience. The Climber shows you don't have to be handicapped, even if your body is imperfect.
