In his first feature-length movie, Mans van den Berg combines friendship adventure with bereavement. Can someone just go to Iceland? You can if you ask young adolescent Sem. His father had a fatal accident there. In memory of his dad, Sem wants to organise, along with a colourful set of friends, the ultimate trip to the island that captures the imagination. Five strong-headed boys and a girl create a world where they can let their imagination run wild, pull all sorts of pranks and experience unconditional friendship. Until it turns out the gang means more to Sem than to the rest. Whereas it is mainly a game for the others, Sem makes a dangerous decision.
