TV single play about a conflict between fisherman and government.
An old fisherman sees his life work start to topple as the government imposes restrictions on his catch and a son does not want to succeed him. He desperately grasps for a last straw. He moors his cotter in the port of Rotterdam with a World War II bomb on board. He threatens to set it off if his demand isn't met and the catch restrictions are not lifted. Political advisor Marte Broekhuis, who initiated the catch cuts, is told to negotiate with the fisherman. She is not just faced by the problems of the fisherman, but is also in danger of falling victim to a political power game. Blindganger is one of three TV single plays looking at the occasionally tense relationship between government and citizens.
