Episode from the Teleac series Jota! There is a fifty-year-old birch in the Peel region in Limburg that has a pet name: 'Big Betty'. Examination of the leaves she shed in all those years and that have been preserved well in the peat bog reveals 'the truth' about our climate. Big Betty impugns the assumptions concerning temperature fluctuations and the climate. It remains to be seen whether the greenhouse theory is correct.
