Ambitious and wide-ranging project - comprising web, TV and radio documentaries and other media - which wants to give everybody an opportunity to help think about our asylum policy.

The asylum policy: everybody has an opinion about it, but how or whether it functions is no longer comprehensible, due to the huge number of procedures, organisations, rules and exceptions. De Asielzoekmachine investigates the complex world of the Dutch asylum policy. Does it work? And how would we actually want it to work? By means of a series of meetings across the country, exhibitions, a web documentary, a TV documentary and a series of radio documentaries, De Asielzoekmachine wants to give everybody an opportunity to help think about our asylum policy. Together, we look for solutions - both micro and macro.
