Using the internet, performance artist Elagoz sets up meetings with strangers, including an exhibitionist and a porn director. Her documentary uses a female perspective to look at the way men perceive women.
Via the advertisement website Craigslist, performance artist Samira Elagoz sets up meetings with various men in three cities - including an exhibitionist and a soft porn director. She investigates the influence of the camera on intimacy between two strangers: the documentalist (her) and the subject. The setup is simple: she takes along a camera and films how they get acquainted. Every meeting is genuine and spontaneous - sometimes awkward, sometimes risky. Elagoz presents a female perspective of the way men perceive women.
