Cinematic contemplations about dream and reality in the Parisian subway, where passengers are transported to another world half asleep.
This is not a dream, but what is it? In several chapters, including ‘Falling asleep’ and ‘Waking up’, this film observes people in the Parisian subway. They are all in different sleep states, while the border between reality and dream gets blurred. While the train races underneath the city - which is occasionally visible in alienating images - its passengers sojourn in another realm. The quickly edited images are supported by classical music.
