An accident on the ice-cold waters of the North Sea is the overture to a raw family drama. The eldest son of a fallen patriarch discovers the family business threatens to go under due to a huge debt. While the smouldering conflicts with his two brothers surface, he seizes an illegal way out to save the business and give his eight-year son a better future. "I wanted to work with faces full of character befitting the tough world of sea fishing", Coulier says about his first long feature film.
