Documentary about the importance of women and love in a male microcosm at sea. Amsterdam seamen on the North Sea start missing their personal havens.

On a ship in the North Sea, fourteen men depend on each other for a month. Day and night, they sail along drilling platforms to provision them. In this world of waves, storm, comradery and containers, the Amsterdam seamen are in their element. But the longer the trip takes, the more they miss something in this male microcosm at sea, the documentary shows.
