Four episodes from the 26-part television series about life at Kruislaan Police Station, based on the English series The Bill. In Dood door schuld (Manslaughter) the police dredge a car up form the water and find the body of a little girl, but no driver. She was apparently abandoned. When the detectives set out to investigate, it looks as if the culprit is to be found close to home. Officer Voskuil gets into emotional problems in Een ijzige reputatie (A Steely Reputation) when it becomes clear that the CID has arrested his own son for manslaughter. In Bloed onder de nagels (Under the Skin) the godchild of Officer Brandsma tries to commit suicide. The policeman wants to take out his frustration on her underworld boyfriend. In Een tegen een (One on One), a girl flips and holds a lighter to her room drenched in petrol. Officer Lucy has to use all her ingenuity to prevent a catastrophe.
