This documentary is the remarkable life story of a unique airplane that was supposed to be used for the Dutch musical Soldier of Orange. While being transported on the road, the old Dakota was involved in an accident. Broken-winged, she now waits for things to come. In the film, the plane looks back on her turbulent life, while people who used to know her testify of their love for this elegant yet tough 'Queen of the Sky'. Roland Korst from the Wings of Liberation Museum wants to save her, but not everyone shares his dream.
