Documentary about the new, hypermodern Justitieel Complex Zaanstad, which uses efficiency, computer-controlled technology and a smaller staff to accommodate more prisoners.

Accommodating more prisoners with a smaller staff; is this possible? This documentary follows a team behind the scenes of the brand-new Justitieel Complex Zaanstad, where this theoretical question is answered in practice. Apart from technological novelties, the methods are different too: detainees re-integrate in-house. They are held accountable for their actions and can thus earn more freedom of movement. What does this procedure mean for the warders, who are daily confronted with aggression and psychiatric disorders?
