Thriller around the Michael Bellicher character, who after the TV series makes his cinema debut. Bellicher gets involved in identity fraud. Who stole his identity and why? And how can he prove this terrifying fact?

How can you fight someone who uses your identity? One night, Michael Bellicher witnesses a mysterious car crash with a fatal ending. After being interrogated by the police, he is arrested, to his utter amazement. It is unclear why, but anything Michael says seems to turn against him. He is subsequently transferred to a police station in Westland, where he is confronted by two hard-boiled detectives, a bizarre charge and a lawyer who does not believe him. So it is up to Bellicher himself to search frenetically for answers: Who stole his identity and why? And how can he prove it? After the four-part TV series around the Michael Bellicher character, based on stories by Charles den Tex, various other familiar faces return in this feature film.
