Lonely supermarket cashier Mariska’s life is a sad affair. Even the guy she lures to repair her cash register does not notice her. Only on social media she can be somebody; in the real world she does not have anyone and nothing ever happens to her. Until one day the air-raid alarm in Emmeloord sounds fifteen minutes late. Director Dennis Overeem got the idea for this black comedy when the monthly air-raid siren in the country really did sound too late one time. This sparked off a lot of nervous tweets en whatsapp messages.
