Documentary about a Turkish family that is profoundly shocked when their only daughter Bahar is violently killed in front of their two granddaughters’ eyes. The parents, brothers and sisters-in-law are convinced their former son-in-law Bahar murdered her. Basing themselves on Bahar’s diaries and letters, the family tries to answer the question how this could have happened. A painful history about fatal love, pain, fear, shame and sacrifice unfolds.
