Second drama in Fatih Akin’s planned trilogy with 'love, death and the devil' as its theme. Like its predecessor Gegen die Wand (2004), the film deals with members of the Turkish community in Germany. His opinion changes when he discovers the woman sends money to Turkey to pay for her daughter’s study. After the woman’s sudden death, Nejat travels to Istanbul to find her daughter.
