German feature film about 11-year-old Anna, spending her troublesome childhood years with her unstable, alcohol-dependent mother (Soutendijk) and her nagging brother. Her father passed away a long time ago. All that Anna wants is a real father, but no matter how seductive Anna's mother is, a new father is unlikely. Right before a tragic incident, Anna makes a discovery and decides to do something about her fatherless life.
