American Beauty

Five-time Oscar-winning drama about Lester Burnham, who lives in a white picket fence house in suburbia, United States with his perfect wife and teenage daughter. Lester is depressed, is passing through a midlife crisis and hates his job, and privately his wife is unable to give him any warmth. But when his insecure daughter brings home a new friend, Lester falls under the spell of this blonde beauty. And for the neighbour and his son, life is also more complex than you might think at first glance.
