A multitude of animals have been assembled in rhythmical succession in this experimental photo film. The multiplication of images can be compared with the crossbreeding programmes of sheep, cattle and pigs. Each time, new animals file past, but the people are often the same. Years of studies and experiments, reduced to a few frames per second. Based on the collection of glass negatives from the 1930s of the Martin-Luther University at Halle-Wittenberg.
