Stylish, short and dystopic film about a perfect looking, yet artificial family in times of hyper-personalised media. The warm family life changes into something robot-like and impassive.
What does the future look like now that media consumption becomes increasingly personal? This stylish, surrealist short shows such a dystopic future, illustrated by a perfect, traditional family that only seems to be a family on the surface. Reduced to simplified stereotype versions of themselves, they live in a constant state of numbness. Distance and artificiality are everyday fare. Alienating scenes bring forward the immense detachment within this family and ask viewers the question: Is this what we want?
