Rough, realistic and strage adventures in a documentary about gold prospectors in de Brazilian jungle. Gouddorst focuses on the increasing conflict between the 45.000 garimpeiros, Brazilian gold-diggers, and Yanomami Indians who have always inhabited the jungle. In 1990 it was awarded a Golden Calf for Best Full-length Documentary.
