Children’s documentary about the brothers Nik and Rino. Spinal muscle atrophy confines Nik to a wheelchair, but his zest for life is indestructible. In the process, Rino plays an important and loving role.

When he was two, Nik (9) was diagnosed with spinal muscle atrophy (SMA). Because his nerves no longer send signals to the muscles, they lose their strength. Nik even lacks the strength to cough when his throat tickles, so he needs help. He is clever and verbally strong. His athletic brother Rino (11) is a competitive swimmer. He practices every day in the pool and at home on the rowing trainer. Nik is his biggest fan and Rino is always there for Nik.
The children’s documentary follows Nik and Rino in their daily lives. In the pool, when they are gaming and when they play war in the street, with Nik mimicking a tank in his electric wheelchair. The two boys could not be greater opposites, but their special brotherly love makes every difference melt. They are, each with his own strengths, each other’s equals. Despite his handicap, Nik is an ordinary nine-year-old boy with dreams that every boy of his age has.
