Jeugdfilm naar een boek van Annie M.G. Schmidt. Meneer Tibbe (Theo Maassen) is een verlegen journalist bij de krant in het stadje Killendoorn. Het ontbreekt hem aan stukjes met nieuwswaarde en zijn bazin staat op het punt hem te ontslaan. Dan ontmoet hij juffrouw Minoes. Een net dametje in mantelpak dat communiceert met poezen, kopjes geeft, spint en via de katten in de buurt op de hoogte is van een alle nieuwtjes uit Killendoorn. Met stemmen van Annet Malherbe, Wim T. Schippers, Katja Schuurman, Paul Haenen, Loes Luca, Hans Teeuwen, Frits Lambrechts en Kim van Kooten. Minoes won in 2002 Gouden Kalveren voor Beste Lange Speelfilm en Beste Actrice (Carice van Houten).
