Feature about the impossible love between a happily-married sports reporter and a single teacher. The two meet on an ice rink and end up making love on the floor. The journalist feels very attracted to the teacher, but he doesn't want to embark on an extra-marital affair with her. That is easier said than done and as the seasons pass he repeatedly gives into the temptation of all-consuming passion. The film concentrates on the encounters between the lovers and their inner conflicts. The woman is torn because her lover doesn't choose for her. The man because he loves two women, and doesn't want to lose either. Leading actress Johanna ter Steege was at the Locarno Filmfestival awarded with a Bronze Leopard.
