Team Spirit II

The six soccer friends from the tragicomic Flemish feature film Team Spirit I, adapted from the Dutch version All Stars, have now turned thirty and the series of vicissitudes involving relationships, friendship, responsibilities and choices is supplemented with children. The team is the steppingstone for the individual problems of the childhood friends and their partners. Part II reveals to what extent the close friendship suffers from troublesome babies, homophobic bosses, nagging civil servants, a stripping girlfriend and an acute herniated disk. A match on the island of Texel is meant to reanimate the team.
