The friends and bicycling partners Sabrina and Maaike train for the Stampersgat cycle race. Sabrina has been in love with Maaike's brother for years. They clumsily hang around each other, but there is nothing between them. Then, the precocious Maaike effortlessly digs up a boyfriend, with a sturdy motorbike. She talks about him all the time, but she sticks to kissing only. Still, Sabrina gets so frustrated that she seduces an unknown guy on the bus to have an actual one-night stand.
