 (The Betrayed)
Cinema version of a three-part TV series based on the novel by Simon Vestdijk. The introverted lawyer Hendrik Grond (played by Gijs Scholten van Aschat) is shocked to find out that his wife Olga (played by Renée Soutendijk) has had an affair with his charming elder colleague Grewestein. He devises a plan to make her pay 'in installments' for her betrayal; each time with a different punishment.
