Liefde gaat door de maag: Zelfs de boter zingt

In a series of twelve episodes, filmmaker Heddy Honigmann looks for the meaning of the adage 'The way to the heart is through the stomach'. For this purpose, she asked twelve people to cook their favourite dish before the camera. While they are cooking, they tell anecdotes and Honigmann elicits statements about the connection between food and eroticism. In the episode Zelfs de boter zingt Mia Strobbe prepares the main course of the menu she put together for her husband and children as a thanks for the fantastic party they organised for her fiftieth birthday. During the cooking she talks about the affectionate life with her husband Carlos and their shared passion for singing and good food.
