Six-part police thriller series based on screenplays by German Derrick writer Herbert Reinecker in which a detective duo in Maastricht is confronted with a variety of crimes. Pilot episode Pas de Deux by Ben Verbong. A young ballet dancer has just been accepted from an audition. When she drives home with her boyfriend and wants to phone home with the good news, she finds herself in the middle of a robbery. In the shoot out, the girl is wounded and the boy is killed. Looking at photos at the police station, the young dancer recognises the killer. He has meanwhile found out that the girl is still alive. A meeting seems inevitable. The detectives try to prevent further bloodshed.
